Full Description
Pond meadow `contains a long moat of singular character, and of considerable depth, - in some places twelve feet. The portion of the field of which this moat is the eastern boundary is raised a few feet about the adjacent land.... traces of occupation by the early Britons have been met with in almost every part of it' (S1).
One arm of a moat (?), (date?) backfilled circa 1970. Scatter of Med tile to the W of `moat'
