Full Description

Moat. Small, rectangular, isolated, occupied. Pond. Wet except W end of S arm backfilled (S1).
The water-filled moat measures overall c.52.0m E-W and c.37.0m N-S, with arms c.7.0m wide. Ponds, to W & E of moat do not resemble fishponds.

2017: Monitoring of groundworks for an extension on the eastern side of the farmhouse revealed a small number of pottery sherds of 11th/12th century to 15th/16th century date (S2).
