Full Description
Ring ditch, circa 30m diameter. Field boundary remains to E, S and W. Within ARW 014 (S1).
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as the cropmark of a ring ditch on aerial photographs, centred on TM 21343444 just to the south of the road between Shop Corner and Erwarton. The ring ditch encloses an area of around 25m in diameter. The size of the ring ditch suggests that it might represent the remains of a round barrow of Bronze Age date. (S1) (S2) See ARW014 and ARW055 for surrounding field systems. (S3)
