Full Description
Coin of Constantinopolis (AD 330-337), found near moat (R1).
1988: Complete dragonesque brooch missing some enamel & badly cleaned, from (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Found metal detecting by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Previously recorded as from Swilland (S2).
1989: (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) - Republican denarius of PLAUTIUS PLANCUS (47 BC). Found metal detecting by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) (S1). Information regarding metal detected finds to remain confidential.
November 1989: Further Republican denarius of 58 BC - details in parish file (S3).
