Full Description

2016: Wessex Archaeology undertook an archaeological assessment of geophysical data acquired from the nearshore section of the East Anglia ONE offshore cable route. No palaeogeographic features of archaeological potential were identfied within the study area. A number of features of archaeological potential have been identified on the seabed. Anomaly 7030 is interpreted as an anchor and classified as of high archaeological potential. Magnetic anomalies 7022 and 7021 have no associated features identified on the seabed at these locations, however there is the possibility for pieces of buried ferrous debris to be present in the vicinity. No known recorded wrecks or obstructions or historic records are located within the study area. (S1)
