Full Description

`A Fishing Boat Wrecked - On Sunday evening the fishing lugger ROSEMARY was making for Lowestoft harbour, when she missed stays and was driven ashore, north of the N Pier. The crew were rescued by ropes thrown to them, by which means they were dragged through the heavy surf. During the night the lugger was knocked to pieces by the breakers, and is now a total wreck. The boat was the property of Mr James Taylor, of Lowestoft.' (1)
