Full Description

The faint cropmark of a ring ditch can be seen on English Heritage Reconnaissance aerial photographs at TL 787500. This Bronze Age or Iron Age ring ditch, which may represent a barrow or a roundhouse, has a maximum diameter of 15m and is situated within an irregular enclosure (NRHE 1585707). The site is placed 200m south of a larger enclosure (NRHE 1585706) and 600m northwest of an enclosure (NRHE 1585687) with three internal ring ditches (NRHE 1585688, 1585689, 1585692) all of which were visible as cropmarks.
