ENGLISH SMACK, 1828
Status: Casualty
`Harwich, 10th Nov. The smack WILLIAM, of London, struck upon the Shipwash Sand 9th instant, and sunk in Hosely Bay. Crew saved.' (1)
NB: This vessel shares the same date and similar circumstances of loss with the BURDETT (q.v.), indicating a possibility that this report may be a correction of the original report detailing the loss of the BURDETT in the previous issue of LL.
