ENGLISH CRAFT, 1822
Status: Casualty

`Harwich, Dec. 6th. It is feared that great loss and damage will have been sustained by the dreadful gale of last night from the westward.' (1)

`The LITTLE MARY, of and for London, Cole, from Sunderland, was driven on shore in Hollesley Bay, on Thursday night, and sunk; crew saved.' (1)

The LITTLE MARY may be identifiable with a report in the Harwich paragraph above (q.v.):
`The LADY NEPEAN Packet, from Holland, passed a sunken brig in Hosely Bay.' (1)
