Jan.19, 1626: Sir Henry Glemham to Mr Scott, Secretary to Earl of Warwick [Enclosed in letter of 20-JAN].

Yesterday, several Dunkirkers took a Flemish pink at Orfordness, and an English ship within a mile of Aldborough, and drove another to run herself ashore. The Dunkirkers shot a piece of ordnance towards the people on the shore. Fears lest they should attack Landguard Fort. Harwich is in great danger. (1)
