1728 wreck of British craft which was lost near Aldeburgh on her passage from Newcastle-upon-Tyne to London; a wooden sailing vessel.

'London, October 19...The ROYAL ANNE, Captain Stephen Hooper, bound from Newcastle to London, was lost on Sunday night last near Aldeburgh on the coast of Suffolk, but her crew was saved.' (1)(2)
