Full Description

1907 wreck of English ketch which foundered 3 miles east of Southwold, following a collision while on a fishing and return trip out of Lowestoft. Built of wood in 1891, she was a sailing vessel.

Vessel on fishing and return voyage, foundered following collision with the SS TANFIELD, of London, in wind conditions SW force 3. (2)

NB: Source (2) states the cargo as ballast; however, it is not known whether the vessel was outward- or homeward-bound; if the latter, she would have been laden with fish.
