1823 wreck of British craft which stranded on the Barnard Sand en route from Sunderland to London; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty
`The CONSUL, Young, from Sunderland to London, was lost on the Barnard Sand, near Southwold, on Sunday. Crew saved.' (1)
