1858 wreck of English brig which foundered off Covehithe Ness following a collision en route from Shields for London. Constructed of wood, she was a sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty

'Lowestoft 6th March - The STAG (brig), Doxford, of and from Shields for London, was in collision with a brig off Cove Hytheness this morning and sunk almost immediately; crew saved.' (1)
