GERMAN SCHOONER, 1869
Status: Casualty

`Drove ashore during a north-east gale. The LAETITIA lifeboat
was towed out by the paddle tug RAINBOW and succeeded in saving the
master and crew of ten. For many years two nameboards from this
vessel decorated the front of the Old Company of Beachmen's shed.' (2)
