ENGLISH SNOW, 1854
Status: Casualty

`Vessel stranded and lost in wind conditions WSW force 4, her sails, rigging etc being brought on shore and the crew saved.' (1)

`Lowestoffe, 22nd February - The CICERO, Sinclair, of and for Sunderland from Southampton, struck upon the south end of Newcome Sand this morning, filled with water, and will become a total wreck; crew saved. The sails, rigging & c. have been brought ashore.' (2)
