1773 wreck of British craft which stranded on the Holm Sand en route from Great Yarmouth to the Netherlands; a wooden sailing vessel.

`Newcastle, July 31, 1773...The MILBOURNE, James, from Yarmouth for Holland, drove on the Holme Sands on Monday se'nnight, and beat to pieces; three of his crew were drowned.' (1)
