1806 wreck of English craft which stranded on the Newcome Sand; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty

`A vessel, supposed to be called the JANE, of Sunderland, struck on the Newcombe Sand, off Lowestoffe, on Monday evening se'nnight, and is become an entire wreck.' (1)
