Full Description
The site was known, from previous cropmark evidence, to contain three ring ditches. The survey detected an annular magnetic anomaly coinciding with one of the cropmarks and a less coherent magnetic response coinciding with the second, but did not detect any clear magnetic anomaly over the third. However, a fourth, previously unknown, ring ditch, was detected approximately 150m north-west of the cropmarks. Various linear ditches, historic field boundaries and natural geological features were also detected by the survey (S1).
