1912 - 1913 and 1919: Palaeolithic implements, including scrapers and borers, found in old pits.

Note there are and have been several "Thorington Halls" in Suffolk and Norfolk. Also significant Bronze Age finds from Thorington Hall, this may have confused early collections, (S4).
