Full Description
Holmwood is a two storey, mid C19th red brick building with grey gault brick dressings and a slate roof. The main house has had little external alteration except for a single storey rear extension. The building has decorative chimney stacks and bargeboards, with some (presumed original) iron latticed casement windows. A porch plaque has a date of 1856.
The adjacent outbuilding, is not finished to the same standard as the house. The date of this structure is unclear. Finished in timber cladding and sheet roofing (asbestos). Lattice windows have been utilised to mirror Holmwood house. As a whole the building is in a very poor condition and is in need of renovation (S1).
