Full Description
The Pines is a late 18th century two storey dwelling, North east of the main house is a detached single storey barn, with attached outshot stores to both the east and west ends. Detached, and situated further east is the remains of a garden store. The barn is present on first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1884. The footprint of the buildings is also clear on the 1840 Tithe map. It is belived the main barn and part of the boundary wall date from c.1820. The attached east and west stores were added after the main barn was built, and before the tithe map of 1840 was drawn. The detached garden store likely dates from the mid to late 19th century and this likely replaced a structure partly on this location (S1)
