Full Description

Archaeological monitoring identified a large soakaway capped with concrete. A number of disturbances were identified filled with a dark sandy loam and brick building debris from the demolition of buildings associated with Downham Hall. The outline of old footings was also identified and were very uneven, suggesting they had been grubbed out by machinery (S1).
