Full Description
An area of burning and charcoal was investigated to the NE corner of the site. Hand cleaning revealed this to be a probable ‘fog-lifter’ of WW2 age and likely to be associated with the nearby airport. All spoil was off-sited, small amount of spoil examined for finds but none found (S1).
