Full Description

1976: Hand-made pot, one base sherd, not decorated, on probably pagan Saxon but could be Iron Age). Fabric harder than usual prehistoric. Found during building Phase 2 Boss Hall Estate, (S1, S2).

1988: Watching brief yielded no finds.

1989: Watching brief revealed a buried channel/ancient pond, Late Iron Age Pottery and Romano British tile fragments, one red deer antler burr (sawn). (Now recorded under IPS 867).
