Full Description
Carinated bowl with a creamtion of Bronze Age date was found in 1876 and transferred to the British Museum in 1979. Exact location of findspot unknown beyone Maidscross. The bowl has the majority of the vessel present with one sherds from the rim to carination having been restored. There are minor chips missing from the rim. There are a few fine fractures which suggesated a third of the vessel was detached from the remainder prior to restoration (S1).
