Full Description
2025: Geophysical survey identified a penannular anomaly typical of a ditched feature with two gaps on opposite sides. Internal to the ditch and on the north side is a strong negative signal. This may be the return of the positive signal or could be the remains of an embankment. This anomaly is typical in morphology of a Neolithic henge monument although an alternative intepretation is a mill mound. Possible double-ditched enclosure was also identified immediately east of this feature and may or may not be related. (S1)
