Full Description

Roman pottery found on the ploughed site of Peartree Farm. Sherds of grey wares (Wattisfield ?) comprising 5 rims, jar, 2 bases, 4 sherds (6 of these are high mica fabrics). Four sherds Samian (probably Central Gaulish) found at TM 3054 8037, also bronze ring about 1 inch in diameter (S1).
