Full Description
Moat. Rectangular, circa 68m x 55m, arms circa 8m wide. S and part of E arm wet, some of N arm filled in. Under dense scrub. Uninhabited, isolated. 350m from parish boundary, 850m from church (S1)(S2).
`Excavation 1967, interior produced grey ware of Bungay Castle type 'and several sherds of a large red storage jar'. Cobble foundations 4 feet wide. C13 rim sherds believed to be (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) in attic. Other, probably PMed, sherds may also be with him.
