Full Description
Mislocation(?) of cemetery, both inhumation and cremation found in 1848/1849 (S1).
Finds said to be from C19 railway construction ballast pit (S1), usually referred to as Finningham but thought (by Basil Brown) to be from pit at cited grid reference given. See FNN 002 for details.
1990: Development site immediately W of pit showed boulder clay subsoil and total lack of find. Suggests location is probably incorrect (S2) and Finningham is probably actual parish of finds.
