Full Description
Moated Site. 
1971:  An enclosure approximately 50 yards square, formed by a 15 feet wide ditch, 7 to 10 feet deep with a 4 to 6 feet counterscarp.  Causeway on N side may be modern.  In a wood.  The other moated sites in the vicinity have been largely reclaimed for  arable (S1). 
1981:   Interior covered with scrub and trees, a few dead. Ditch mostly dry, some water near the causeway (S1). 
1991:  Grant given for maintaining monument.  Trees and scrub tidied last year (S3).
