Full Description

Moat. Dry, NE and NW arms survive as ditches, SE and SW arms can be traced but these and the island are under plough. Isolated, 2,550m from parish church, circa 100m from parish boundary.
Shown as rectangular, with an entrance on the E side and containing a building (? a barn) on the 1838 Tithe Map. Named as `Yards', belonging to Thomas Pochin Esq and occupied by Benjamin Boutell. The SW side adjoined Brook Wood (49a), also owned by Pochin (S1).
