Full Description
Moat. Rectangular, isolated, unoccupied.
A sub-rectangular homestead moat SW of Greentree Farm (demolished). It measures overall 72.0m E - W by 52.0m N - S, with arms averaging 10.0m wide. Only the SW arm is waterfilled with the lower outlet angle enlarged to form a modern pond. The interior is set on slightly sloping ground with the northern side 0.5m below the ground level, and the southern side raised abovoe it. No trace of the former house site found.
