Full Description

Hundred Stone.
1886: Formerly inscribed:- THIS MARKS THE BOUNDS OF THREE HUNDREDS AND THREE TOWNS. (Babergh, Thedwastry & Cosford; Cockfield, Felsham & Thorpe Morieux) 'Close to this stone is a pond by the road-side, called the Hundred-stone pond, through which flows a stream' (S1).
1982: Stone survives on road verge on E side of junction. Inscription not now visible (S2).
