Full Description
Moat. Square, small, 70 x 60m across island. Wet ditch circa 4m average width. "The narrowness and absence of ground evidence casts some doubt as to its authenticity as a homestead moat" (S1).
Wooded. Isolated, 350m from parish boundary, 1650m from church.
Within Home Wood (ancient woodland - see HTC 044).
