Full Description

Hussey Green.
Shown and named on 1783 map, with a least two peripheral farms (S1). Now enclosed and converted to arable, with no surviving peripheral buildings, though one farm was still marked on the OS 1:10560 map. Substantial parts of the outline of the green have also been flattened. Green enclosed under an agreement of 1793 and an award of 1796. Green then covered 51 acres and was subject to 79.5 `goings', and belonged to Manor of Chippenhall (S2)(R1).
