Full Description
Multi-period site, Mesolithic to Medieval.
IA settlement with circular huts, ditch systems, pits, etc. All forms of pottery from 'A' types through to 'Belgic'. Many small finds. A detailed account of the IA finds will appear in Part 2 of the West Stow report. Also note IA finds from Sax contexts, e.g. ?coin mould fragment (S1).
