Circa 1935: Nearly round (slightly oval), circumference about 60 paces, height only about 2 feet. It is indicated by a very flattened and mutilated mound with several fir trees growing upon it. There is no visible ditch (R2).

January 2020. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A probable Bronze Age barrow is seen as earthwork on aerial photographs (S3-S4). The barrow has been previously recorded from field visits (see above) and is scheduled. The barrow is obscured by tree cover on the 1940s aerial photographs and can be seen clearly as an earthwork on recent (2016) aerial photographs.
