Barrow (site of).
`Near Broad Spinney (recte Brand Spinney), East + West of trackway from Timworth to Rymer Barn' - 6 (?) tumuli (R1)(R2).
1976: No trace of these barrows, LML 007-011, on the OS APs of the area and no trace at ground level (R1).
Photograph of 3 supposed tumuli near Brand Spinney, 1933 (R3). The fields are on level ground. Perambulation produced no surface indication of the features, and there is no local knowledge of them. The Tithe Map of 1840 gave no significant name to the field, and nothing is visible on the OS APs taken July 1976 (S1-S3).
