Full Description
'A large oval area of blackened soil with many burnt flints, circa a quarter of a mile W of Brockley Wood. No dateable material (S1) (S2). Marked on B Brown's map are 3 fields where a linear distribution of many stones were found (from TL 9948 7501 to TL 9990 7504). He thought this was a possible Roman road line (S1).
