Full Description

Girling's Mill. Post mill dated 1775, shown on Hodskinson's map of the county 1783 (S1). Post mill with two storey round house (added in 1901). Ceased work 1931, demolished September 1935, round house remains as a store. Mill had four patent sails, two pairs of stones in the head and a fantail (S2).
