Full Description

1980: Considerable spread from 20 metre square area: two fragments lava quern, two EMed sherds, one late C13 jug base, 17 'Med' sherds, one 'Med rim, one C14 sherd with bung-hole, one C14 glazed sherd, one C14 unglazed sherd. Also five glazed PMed and one ? Rom sherd.
Situated on S edge of former Cranmer Green. Not shown on 1817 map (S1). For other Med and PMed sites on or bordering Cranmer Green, see WLW 8, 9, 16, 22-32, 34-40, 70-72 and 80.
