1980 and 1983: PMed pottery found in area 20 metres square: one C16 jug rim (green glaze), two C16 sherds (green glaze), one C16 pipe bowl, four fragments C17 Bellarmine, 150 C17/C18 sherds, two C17/C18 stoneware sherds, two C19 sherds, 20 C17/C19 sherds, nine C19/C20 porcelain, one C19/C20 teapot spout.
This site together with WLW 35, 36 & 37 appears to lie within the area of (?) Cranmer Green as bounded by WLW 8, 9, 16, 22-33, 38-40, 70-72 and 80. In 1577 recorded as customary messuage and yard called 'Weders' of John Carter (S1).
