Full Description

1980: Small scatter of Med sherds found in area 12m square, one C11/C12 sherd (?), one late C13 rim, 12 grey Med sherds, two C14 rims. Also small amount C19 sherds and one flint flake.
Not mentioned in 1577 Field book (S1).
For other Med and PMed sites in area of Crowland (now Crownland) and on same (roadside ?) alignment, see WLW 48, 50, 51, 53-56 and Crownland Hall (WLW 4).
