Summary

1980 : Finds scatter over 10m square area, consisting of:- two fragments lava quern, two C11 rims, six C11 sherds (one combed), thirtyeight late C13 sherds, one early C14 sherd with green striped glaze (Grimston ware?).

Full Description

1980 : Finds scatter over 10m square area, consisting of:- two fragments lava quern, two C11 rims, six C11 sherds (one combed), thirtyeight late C13 sherds, one early C14 sherd with green striped glaze (Grimston ware?). Possibly on edge of original Cranmer Green. For other Med and PMed sites situated on or surrounding Cranmer Green, see WLW 008, 009, 016, 022-040, 070, 071 and 080.
Site not mentioned in 1577 Field book (S1) or 1695 survey (S2).
