Full Description
Basil Brown quotes Kelly's Directory of Suffolk. "During 1907-08 a number of Roman coins of the early Caesars were found here". He then mentions St Mary's Well in the parish said to have medicinal qualities, implying that coins could have been thrown in (S1)(S2).
