Full Description

Copper flat axe with broad thin butt. Trapezoidal form with slightly expanded cutting edge. Brown patina. Length 14.3cms, weight 727 grms (S1). Metal analysed by Britton (S2). Formerly Prigg, then Evans Collection (S1). (May be same as CRN 07959 though catalogue numbers listed as different.)
A bevelled axe also has a home in Eriswell - no more is known.
