Full Description
Site of Yoxford Manor (R1). Manorial survey or 'Drag' of 1471 states that the manor was 'walled about with walls and a moat, which said site was formerly built upon, and was then called the inner court of the manor. Men now living have seen jambs and posts'. Site was approximately square, the main entrance from due S along a ditched causeway known as the Old Entry (S1).
