Full Description

Fragment of a bronze rapier blade with a flattened mid-rib. Maximum width 1.9cm, maximum thickness 0.6cm and 3.3cm long. Brown patination. Found with a metal detector (S1). (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) through SAU Ipswich (John Newman) 1985.
