Full Description

Three croft (toft)/enclosure/or possible moat on S edge of old Flixton Park noted from St Joseph's Aps (S1). Linked to field system and trackway (S2). Also see SEC 054.
One possible croft is visible as a cropmarks forming over a ditched enclosure on aerial photographs on the south edge of old Flixton Park, centred on circa TM305852. The enclosure may connect with a drain to the north of Park Raod, forming a small moated enclosuer. Alternatively it may be one of the crofts described above, but S1 was not available to the survey and this cannot be confirmed. The enclosure may have been cleared during the creation of Flixton Park. (S2)
